Class Description

The AKC Canine Good Citizen™ (CGC) program provides a perfect framework for training your dog to become a polite member of society. CGC classes will help you and your dog learn the 10 skills in the program. Canine Good Citizen Test Items 1 : Accepting a friendly stranger 2 : Sitting politely for petting 3 : Appearance and grooming 4: Out for a walk (walking on a loose lead) 5: Walking through a crowd 6: Sit and down on cue and stay in place 7: Coming when called 8: Reaction to another dog 9: Reaction to distraction 10: Supervised separation This CGC Prep Class is taught by Certified AKC CGC Evaluators. Instruction will last 5 weeks with the 6th week being test day (optional). *There will be no class on March 31st for Easter

Cancellation Policy

Payment is due at the time of registration unless you are registering for a class that needs to meet a minimum number of participants. By registering you are reserving a spot in the seminar/class you chose. Once registration is complete no refunds will be issued. For classes with a minimum number of participants required, you will be invoiced once the min number of participants has been met, and payment will be due within 48 hours of that invoice. You may transfer the registration to another participant. If we are able to fill the spot from our waitlist a refund minus a $20 fee will be issued. In the event we have to cancel due to weather or circumstances out of our control if possible we will reschedule, if we are unable to reschedule refunds - $5 processing fee will be issued.
